Service Description

Our Focus: Skill-building in personal grooming and creative expression through makeup. Description: Every Monday at 6:30pm our Participants will explore various makeup techniques including skincare preparation, foundation matching, contouring, eyeshadow blending, and creating a variety of looks (natural, dramatic, themed). This class promotes creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills while encouraging self-expression. Everyday Makeup Essentials Week 1: Skincare and Foundation Basics - Importance of skincare before makeup application - Choosing the right foundation shade and formula - Techniques for applying foundation for a natural look Week 2: Eye Makeup Basics - Overview of different types of eyeshadows, eyeliners, and mascaras - Creating a simple daytime eye look - Tips for defining brows and enhancing eye shape Week 3: Blush, Bronzer, and Highlighter - Selecting the right shades of blush, bronzer, and highlighter for different skin tones - Techniques for applying blush for a natural flush - How to use bronzer to add warmth and contour the face - Highlighting for a subtle glow Week 4: Lipstick and Finishing Touches - Choosing lipstick colors that complement your skin tone - Techniques for applying lipstick for long-lasting wear - Setting makeup with setting spray or powder - Tips for touch-ups throughout the day Note: This course is designed to teach basic makeup application techniques for everyday looks. Students will have the opportunity to practice each step in class and receive guidance and feedback from the instructor. What's included - A one hour basic makeup session per class, a mirror, makeup brushes. We ask that everyone bring your own makeup as will provide makeup samples.
